Bi-Partisan Bill to be Introduced to Save "Dreamers" Due to DACA Possibly Being Phased Out

7/19/2017

Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina (R) and Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois (D) plan to re-introduce a version of the "DREAM Act," this week.  The Bill would provide an option for young immigrants who were brought to the U.S. without authorization when they were minors by their parents to obtain U.S citizenship.  These children currently are temporarily protected from removal under "DACA," but they may lose this special protected status, due to a court challenge from Texas and nine other states.  Please see the below article for more information.

Trump Administration Delays Entrepreneur Advance Parole Which Would Greatly Help Startup Companies and Was Implemented by President Obama

7/12/2017

Entrepreneurs and small startups are responsible for creating jobs in the U.S. We currently do not have an entrepreneur visa to help immigrants wanting to start companies in the U.S. This entrepreneur advance parole was a temporary solution created by President Obama to help these entrepreneurs start companies here. It is a shame that it has been postponed.
