Bi-Partisan Bill to be Introduced to Save "Dreamers" Due to DACA Possibly Being Phased Out7/19/2017 Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina (R) and Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois (D) plan to re-introduce a version of the "DREAM Act," this week. The Bill would provide an option for young immigrants who were brought to the U.S. without authorization when they were minors by their parents to obtain U.S citizenship. These children currently are temporarily protected from removal under "DACA," but they may lose this special protected status, due to a court challenge from Texas and nine other states. Finally- some good news in the immigration world! Kudos to the State Department for reversing the denial of the visas for this girls' robotics team from Afghanistan to visit the U.S. They were issued temporary "parole" after a large public outcry.

It is a shame that it has been postponed.
How the Trump Administration is affecting immigration. As mentioned in our previous article, all of the best and brightest in the tech world will start immigrating to countries that welcome them, like Canada.
